ask and you shall receive

so i did. i asked God for a sign. usually, i would wait for days and days and not receive anything. God must've known i needed it badly this time so he gave in. but He did not say that the sign he would be giving me is the one i'd hope he would. it was more of a wake up call for me. i think it was His way of telling me that some things are just not meant to be.
